Be The Example Someone Else Needs

Quote of the Day:

“Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing.” — Albert Schweitzer

Introduction

Whether we realize it or not, someone is always watching us.

It might be a child, a coworker, a neighbor, or even a stranger. People notice how we handle pressure, how we treat others, and how we respond when life gets hard. Our lives are constantly sending a message.

The question is: What kind of message are we sending?

A Simple Story

A young boy once watched his father closely every day. One afternoon, the father lost his temper over something small and spoke harshly to someone.

Later that evening, the father overheard his son repeating those same harsh words while playing.

It hit him hard.

From that moment on, he realized something powerful:

His child wasn’t just listening—he was learning.

The Truth About Influence

You don’t have to have a big platform to make a big impact.

You don’t need thousands of followers You don’t need a title You don’t need recognition

You just need consistency in character.

People follow what they see, not just what they hear.

Be the Example in These Areas

1. In Your Attitude

Choose positivity even when it’s hard.

A calm spirit in chaos speaks louder than words.

2. In Your Words

Speak life, encouragement, and kindness.

Your words can either build someone up or tear them down.

3. In Your Actions

Do the right thing—even when no one is watching.

Integrity is the foundation of true influence.

4. In Your Faith

Let your trust in God show through how you live.

Faith isn’t just spoken—it’s demonstrated.

Scripture to Reflect On

1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV):

“Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

A Little Humor 😊

Someone once said:

“Your kids may not always listen to you… but they will definitely imitate you!”

That’ll make you straighten up real quick, won’t it?

Encouragement for Today

You may feel like your life is simple or unnoticed—but don’t underestimate your influence.

The way you smile at someone The patience you show The kindness you give The faith you live out

It all matters.

Someone is learning from your life.

Challenge for March 25

Today, ask yourself:

👉 If someone followed me around all day… what would they learn?

Then make this decision:

“I will be a positive example—on purpose.”

Closing Thought

You don’t have to be perfect to be an example.

You just have to be real, intentional, and growing.

Because when you live right…

You give others permission to do the same.
