10/21–Perspective–seasoned by experience, you begin to understand what not to worry about. So that you can put your efforts into that which is productive and not in that which will energize your enemies by focusing on them and what they are trying to do.
If you start speaking to them you give life to them and make them bigger by focusing on them. You need to ignore what they are doing, and keep on doing what you are called to do. Because whatever you put your attention on you give life to. You make something or somebody important the moment you give it or them attention.
Whatever you give attention to you make important. If you want to kill something, ignore it. A lot of time Jesus answered them not a word. Let the silence settle.

Can You Spare A Minute Or So 10/21?
10/21–Jimmy Durante was asked to do a show for World War II veterans. He told them his schedule was busy but he would come do a short monologue and immediately leave for another performance. He finished his monologue and then started on another. And then another. The applause grew louder and louder.
Finally, after a thirty-minute presentation, he left to the loud applause of the crowd.
The director of the benefit met Mr. Durante backstage and asked, “What happened? I thought you had to go after a few minutes”.
Jimmy answered, “I did, but I can show you the reason I stayed.” He pointed to two men, each of whom had lost an arm in the war, sitting on the front row. One had lost his right arm and the other had lost his left. Sitting next to each other they were able to clap using the single hand of the other. Are you grateful?

The Power Of Patience
Patience is one of the hardest virtues to practice, yet one of the most rewarding. In a fast-paced world where everything is expected instantly—answers, results, success—patience feels out of place. But the truth is, good things still take time. Growth takes time. Healing takes time. Progress takes time.
Patience is not passive; it is active trust. It is waiting without giving up, believing that what you’ve sown will one day bring a harvest. A farmer doesn’t plant seeds in the morning and expect a full crop by evening. He works, waits, and waters in faith.
Scripture tells us in Galatians 6:9: “Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” That “due season” is God’s timing, not ours. Patience teaches us to hold on through the waiting and to stay steady when nothing seems to be happening.
Think of patience as a muscle. The more you practice it, the stronger it becomes. Every delay, every setback, every test of endurance is a chance to strengthen your character.
So today, if you’re waiting for a breakthrough, a change, or an answer, don’t lose heart. Patience is not wasted time—it’s preparation time. The waiting is shaping you for what’s ahead.

Ask yourself, “Am I willing to trust the process, even when I can’t see the progress?” Remember—patience always pays off.

In a world that often celebrates boldness, loudness, and self-promotion, meekness can sound like weakness. But true meekness is not about being timid or powerless—it is about strength under control. It is the quiet confidence that doesn’t need to shout, the gentle spirit that knows when to yield, and the calm heart that chooses peace over pride.
Meekness is not giving up your voice; it’s choosing to use your voice wisely. It’s not being walked on; it’s walking tall with humility. It’s the strength of the lion combined with the gentleness of the lamb.
Think about this: the strongest people you know are not always the loudest. They are often the ones who don’t need to prove themselves. They let their actions speak louder than their words. That’s meekness in motion.
The Bible reminds us in Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” That’s a promise of lasting impact—not through force or arrogance, but through patience, humility, and grace.
Today, let meekness guide your steps. When conflict arises, choose the softer answer. When pride pushes you to react, pause and respond with humility. When others expect anger, surprise them with calm.
Meekness doesn’t take away your strength—it reveals it.

10/20–Oh yes, I definitely feel sorry for the critic. He must be lonelier than the Maytag repair man.
Like Wanted posters that used to have at the post office the critic is wanted for character assassination, for confidence killing.
It is like bad breath or body odor so no one tells the critic why he is being avoided. It’s not fair but he is left to figure it out alone. I believe the critic knows that it is that way, but he just feels sure the world wants to be told of all their mistakes and shortcomings.

If the critic will run someone else’s down to you, then rest assured he will run you down to someone else. No one is safe from the harm of the critic not even the critic himself. He has been so critical of everyone else, if he has no one else to criticize he will turn on himself.
The critic is armed and dangerous. He has no permit or license but carries his weapon with him everywhere he goes. Not only does he have his weapon with him but it is cocked and ready to shoot and then ask questions later.
