Psalms
Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so:
but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

3/5–Stop watering things that were never meant to grow in your life. Water what works, what’s good, what’s right.
Stop playing around with those dead bones and stuff you can’t fix, it’s over… leave it alone.
You are coming into a season of greatness. If you water what’s alive and divine, you will see a harvest like you’ve never seen before. Stop water on dead issues, dead relationships, dead people, a dead past.
No matter how much you water concrete, you can’t grow a garden. T D Jakes
Scripture:
Galatians 6:7-10
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

A woman once drove up with her dog in the front seat, and the pet eagerly jumped over onto the driver’s lap when the car reached my window. He looked excited to see me. “Your dog is so friendly!” I said to the owner. “He thinks he’s at McDonald’s,” she replied.

The Preacher And His Lesson About The Fire
A member of a certain Church, who previously had been attending meetings regularly, stopped going. After a few weeks, an elder decided to visit him.
It was a chilly evening. The elder found the man at home alone, sitting before a blazing fire. Guessing the reason for the elder’s visit, the man welcomed him, led him to a big chair near the fireplace and waited.
The elder made himself comfortable but said nothing. In the grave silence, he contemplated the play of the flames around the burning logs.
After some minutes, the elder took the fire tongs, carefully picked up a brightly burning ember and placed it to one side of the hearth all alone.
Then he sat back in his chair, still silent. The host watched all this in quiet fascination. As the one lone ember’s flame diminished, there was a momentary glow and then its fire was no more. Soon it was cold and “dead as a doornail.”
Not a word had been spoken since the initial greeting. Just before the elder was ready to leave, he picked up the cold, dead ember and placed it back in the middle of the fire.
Immediately it began to glow once more with the light and warmth of the burning coals around it. As the elder reached the door to leave, his host said, “Thank you so much for your visit and especially for the fiery lesson. I shall be back at the Church next Sunday.”

Young Men Have A Pattern Of Good Works
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

3/4–Broken Heart
I heard a story about a man who invited his neighbor to attend church with him. On the way home, the neighbor said, “I noticed you have a new preacher.” “Yes,” said his friend, “We fired the old one. He was always telling us unless we repented, we were going to hell.”
“But,” the neighbor replied, “your new preacher said the very same thing this morning.” “True,” was the reply, “but our old preacher acted like he was happy about the situation. When our new preacher says this, it seems to break his heart.”
Scripture:
Ephesians 4:15-16
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Down the driveway she would scoot, across our near-neighbor’s lawn, down the hill, across a basketball court, through a little gate, around our new neighbor’s house, and through her front hedge just in time to grin at us as we caught up a half block from home. Our new neighbor down the hill, upon meeting us for the first time recently, remarked, “We always know when you folks are going somewhere.” “How can you tell?” I asked. “Well,” she said, “it’s strange, but always just before you drive past our house, our cat climbs a tree.”

The Story Of The Church Janitor
Did you hear the story of Bill? Bill was out of work and applied for a janitorial position at the local downtown First Baptist Church. He was asked to complete an application. Bill had to confess that he couldn’t write or read.
They turned him down saying that some of the janitor’s duties involved reading work orders. Discouraged but not down, Bill bought a basket of apples, set up shop on the side of the road. Business was good. Bill knew where to get the best apples. He sold out his inventory, bought some more and did the same.
Several years later, he had amassed over one million dollars. He went to a bank and asked for a loan to expand and construct a building for his fruit company. The bank officer said, “Here, fill out this form.” “Sorry, but I can’t write,” Bill said.
The banker shot back, “You can’t write? Just think where you would be if you could read and write!!” Bill muttered, “I know exactly where I would be, I’d be a janitor at First Baptist Church.”
Bill was motivated. He used what he had. How about you?

Such As I Have I Give Unto You
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

When I changed them he felt better and was soon the liveliest little fellow in the group. Sometimes our lives seem all sour and stale. We find fault with everyone around us. We need to stop and take a good look at our feet. If we were wearing the same shoes the other fellow wears, would we be happy?
