People were created to be loved, things were created to be used. The reason why the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and people are being used.

During a research experiment a marine biologist placed a shark into a large holding tank and then released several small bait fish into the tank.
As you would expect, the shark quickly swam around the tank, attacked and ate the smaller fish.
The marine biologist then inserted a strong piece of clear fiberglass into the tank, creating two separate partitions. She then put the shark on one side of the fiberglass and a new set of bait fish on the other.
Again, the shark quickly attacked.
This time, however, the shark slammed into the fiberglass divider and bounced off. Undeterred, the shark kept repeating this behavior every few minutes to no avail. Meanwhile, the bait fish swam around unharmed in the second partition. Eventually, about an hour into the experiment, the shark gave up.
This experiment was repeated several dozen times over the next few weeks. Each time, the shark got less aggressive and made fewer attempts to attack the bait fish, until eventually the shark got tired of hitting the fiberglass divider and simply stopped attacking altogether.
The marine biologist then removed the fiberglass divider, but the shark didn’t attack. The shark was trained to believe a barrier existed between it and the bait fish, so the bait fish swam wherever they wished, free from harm.”

The Lost Watch Once a farmer lost his gold watch in his big barn. As it was not only expensive but it also had sentimental value, he spent a lot of time searching among the hay. But he gave up and asked some children playing near the barn to help him find his watch and promised a reward. The children got inside the barn and started searching everywhere. They went through and around the entire stack of hay but no luck. They could not find the watch. The farmer was about to give up searching for the watch, when a little boy asked to be given another chance. The farmer gave the boy permission and the boy went back to the barn. After 20 minutes, the little boy came out holding the watch in his hand! The farmer was surprised, and asked the boy how he found the watch when the rest of them had failed. The boy said, “All I did was to sit quietly on the ground and listen. After a while, in the silence, I heard the ticking of your watch,” so I just looked for it in that direction!
Scripture:
Hebrews 4:2
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
A popular speaker started off a seminar by holding up a $20 bill. A crowd of 200 had gathered to hear him speak. He asked, ‘Who would like this $20 bill?’200 hands went up.
He said, ‘I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.’ He crumpled the bill up.
He then asked, ‘Who still wants it?’
All 200 hands were still raised.
Well,’ he replied, ‘What if I do this?’ Then he dropped the bill on the ground and stomped on it with his shoes.
He picked it up, and showed it to the crowd. The bill was all crumpled and dirty. Now who still wants it?’
All the hands still went up.
My friends, I have just showed you a very important lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, life crumples us and grinds us into the dirt. We make bad decisions or deal with poor circumstances. We feel worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special – Don’t ever forget it!’

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Humor:
From Brother Jerome Dean
One day three ministers went fishing. One minister said he was going to the store. He stepped out of the boat and walked on water to the store and came back the same way. The second said he was going to the store same as the first minister. The third minister said if they had the faith to walk on water so could he step on the water and fell in. He got back in the boat and tried a second time and went in the water. The first minister asked the second mister, should we tell him where the row of stumps are! 😷
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Maybe they are someone people look at as judges. Some feel though they are only calling it like they see it or telling it like it is.
If you have to knock someone else down two notches to elevate yourself one notch, you weren’t anywhere to start with.
They work at the rumor mill where they manufacture things that don’t build anyone or anything up.
Matthew 12:34-37 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Idle words are words that have no profit or benefit to be spoken. They may have some truth but do nothing to help anyone or their situation.
You can call a Critic someone who wants to hold it like it is, tell it like it is or whatever, but they are still a Critic.
I have trouble with the three C’s– criticize, condemn and complain.
