Make Bold Requests To The Lord
Have you ever held back in prayer because you felt your request was too big, too bold, or too impossible? Sometimes we whisper small prayers, afraid to “bother” God with the depths of our desires. But the truth is—God invites us to come boldly before His throne, not timidly.
1. God Honors Bold Faith
Hebrews 4:16 declares, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Bold requests show God that we truly believe He is who He says He is—the Almighty, the Provider, the Waymaker. When we pray small, we limit our vision; when we pray big, we align ourselves with His power.
2. Remember Who You’re Asking
You’re not asking a friend for a favor—you’re speaking to the Creator of heaven and earth. The One who split the Red Sea, calmed the storm, and raised the dead still has unlimited resources. If He could feed 5,000 with a few loaves and fish, surely He can meet your need today.
3. Bold Prayers Come From Bold Trust
Making bold requests doesn’t mean demanding your way—it means trusting God with His way. It’s saying, “Lord, this is the desire of my heart, but I trust Your wisdom above mine.” True boldness is rooted in surrender, not arrogance.
4. Ask, Believe, and Expect
Jesus said in John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Bold prayers glorify God when the answer is undeniable evidence of His hand at work. Don’t just ask—believe and expect Him to move.
Final Thought
Don’t be afraid to bring your deepest desires and impossible situations before the Lord. He delights in showing Himself strong on behalf of those who trust Him. Today, stretch your faith—pray big, ask boldly, and watch God do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
God is not intimidated by your request—He is honored by your faith.
Unity Is A Difference Maker In A Church
Psalms 133:1-3. A SONG OF DEGREES OF DAVID.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head,
that ran down upon the beard,
even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion:
for there the LORD commanded the blessing,
even life for evermore.

Story:
Best Day Or Worst Day—Perspective
Charles Francis Adams, 19th century political figure and diplomat, kept a diary. One day he entered: “Went fishing with my son today–a day wasted.” His son, Brook Adams, also kept a diary, which is still in existence. On that same day, Brook Adams made this entry: “Went fishing with my father–the most wonderful day of my life!” The father thought he was wasting his time while fishing with his son, but his son saw it as an investment of time. The only way to tell the difference between wasting and investing is to know one’s ultimate purpose in life and to judge accordingly.

-A King stood high above his subjects on a balcon y. I need a kidney and I wonder if any of you below would be willing to give me one of yours? I know it is asking a lot and would be a great sacrifice! A loud cry went up from the majority crying loudly let it be me, please let it be me!!
The King turned to his main aide and asked how can I choose among them since so many want to volunteer? There was a feather near his feet and he got an idea! He told his subjects I know what I’ll do, I’ll drop this feather and whoever it lands on will get the honor of donating me a kidney.
As the feather came slowly descending a swooshing sound could be heard as the subjects started blowing the feather. This is the way of a lot of people that tell God let me, let me God. But when God says ok go ahead they start trying to shift the load off them and onto someone else! They start to blow the feather away from themselves.

Embrace Every New Beginning You Are Given
Every sunrise whispers the same truth: yesterday is gone, and today is a brand-new gift. Too often, we carry the weight of yesterday’s failures, regrets, or anxieties into today, and it robs us of the joy of fresh opportunities. But God never intended for us to live chained to the past.
1. Leave Yesterday Behind
The apostle Paul said, “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). Yesterday’s mistakes cannot be undone, but they also don’t define your tomorrow. Each new day is a chance to rewrite your story with courage, faith, and determination.
2. Choose to See Today’s Potential
It’s easy to see obstacles, but faith trains us to see opportunities. Think of today not as “another ordinary day,” but as a stepping stone toward your destiny. Even small steps taken today are progress toward something greater.
3. Start Where You Are, With What You Have
Sometimes we wait for the “perfect moment” to act, but the perfect moment is now. Great journeys begin with simple steps. Whether it’s offering kindness, pursuing a goal, or speaking words of encouragement, your efforts today matter.
4. Trust God With the Unknown
A new beginning can feel uncertain, but that’s where faith shines brightest. The Lord says in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” God is already at work in ways you cannot yet see—your job is to trust Him and walk forward in confidence.
Final Thought
Today is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a divine invitation to start fresh. Don’t let yesterday’s shadows darken today’s light. Step forward with courage, faith, and gratitude, because this could be the day that everything begins to change.
Today is your new beginning—embrace it boldly.
If You Need Anything From God, You Can’t Afford To Be Offended
Luke 7:19-23. And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

A little boy invited his mother to attend his elementary school’s first teacher-parent conference. To the little boy’s dismay, she said she would go. This would be the first time that his classmates and teacher met his mother and he was embarrassed by her appearance. Although she was a beautiful woman, there was a severe scar that covered nearly the entire right side of her face. The boy never wanted to talk about why or how she got the scar.
At the conference, the people were impressed by the kindness and natural beauty of his mother despite the scar, but the little boy was still embarrassed and hid himself from everyone. He did, however, get within earshot of a conversation between his mother and his teacher, and heard them speaking.
How did you gel the scar on your face?” the teacher asked. The mother replied, “When my son was a baby, he was in a room that caught on fire. Everyone was too afraid to go in because the fire was out of control, so I went in. As I was running toward his crib, I saw a beam coming down and I placed myself over him trying to shield him. I was knocked unconscious but fortunately, a fireman came in and saved both of us.” She touched the burned side of her face. “This scar will be permanent, but to this day, I have never regretted doing what I did.”
At this point, the little boy came out running towards his mother with tears in his eyes.He hugged her and felt an overwhelming sense of the sacrifice that his mother had made for him. He held her hand tightly for the rest of the day.
This story reminds me,very much, of my own Mother who also had a big scar that covered the right side of her face before I was ever born. She was attacked by a bulldog when she was about four years old. But I was not ashamed of the scar. No, I thought she was beautiful and a beautiful soul. She was the kindest person I ever knew.
