7/7–Start Your Day Off Right Series

Quote:

Dear God,

If I am WRONG,

RIGHT ME!

If I am LOST,

GUIDE ME!

If I start TO GIVE UP,

KEEP ME GOING!

And, God forbid, if I ever start to FORGET what you did for me,

RENEW my mind, soul and heart to YOUR WAYS!!

Story:

A young boy while visiting his grandfather in the country, found a small land turtle and promptly attempted to examine it.

The  turtle promptly closed its shell like a vise. Where upon the boy seized a stick and tried in vain to pry the shell open.

Observing the boys actions, the grandfather quickly interrupted. “That’s not the way,” he said. “Let me show you how.”

Taking the turtle into the house, he set it on the hearth. In a few minutes the creature began to grow warm, stuck out it’s  head and feet and started to crawl.

Turtles are something like people” said the old man. “Never try to force a fellow into anything—-Just warm him up a little ordinary human kindness, and more than likely he’ll come your way.

Scripture:

Exodus 14:13-14

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

When You Plant Small Seeds You Real A Big Harvest

Absolutely! Here’s your motivational blog for July 7:

🌱 July 7 – Small Seeds, Big Harvests 🌾

Motivational Blog by Dale Cantrell

It’s July 7—a new day with new opportunities. You may not see it yet, but what you plant today will shape your tomorrow.

Too often, we underestimate small beginnings. We think if it doesn’t make a big splash, it doesn’t matter. But the greatest trees start as tiny seeds. And some of the biggest breakthroughs come from the smallest steps.

💭 What are you planting today?

Is it kindness? Discipline? Faith? A new habit? A healthier mindset? Whatever it is, don’t despise its smallness. Great things are growing under the surface—if you keep watering them.

📖 The Bible says:

“Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” – Job 8:7

God specializes in turning small starts into great stories. Your effort today may not look impressive to the world—but heaven sees it. And it counts.

🔔 Quote of the Day:

“Do not wait for extraordinary circumstances to do good action; try to use ordinary situations.” – Jean Paul Richter

So go ahead—encourage that friend, show up for yourself, pray that prayer, make that call, start that goal. These small seeds have the potential to produce a harvest far bigger than you can imagine.

🙌 Don’t quit. Don’t compare. Just keep planting.

Because God is in the business of multiplying small things done with great faith.

Would you like me to prepare this as a short video script with a quote, verse, and joke too?

Quote:

Take the GOOD,

Leave the BAD,

And KEEP ON WALKING for JESUS!

Story:

One day a small rat surfaced from his nest to find himself between the paws of a huge sleeping lion, which immediately awoke and seized the rat.

The rat pleaded with the fierce beast to be set free, and the lion, being very noble and wise, and in no need of such small prey, agreed to let the relieved rat go on his way.

Some days later in the same part of the forest, a hunter had laid a trap for the lion, and it duly caught him, so that the lion was trussed up in a strong net, helpless, with nothing to do than wait for the hunter to return.

But it was the rat who came along next, and seeing the lion in need of help, promptly set about biting and gnawing through the net, which soon began to unravel, setting the great lion free.

The moral of the story is of course to make the world your debtor – even the humblest of folk may one day be of use.

Scripture:

Matthew 5:33

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

Seek Progress And Not Perfection

Today is July 6—a perfect day to remind yourself that you don’t have to be perfect to make progress.

Too often, we wait for the “perfect” moment. We want the timing to be right, the conditions to be ideal, and ourselves to be flawless before we start. But that’s not how success works. Progress is messy, uncomfortable, and full of mistakes. And that’s okay.

💡 Progress is better than paralysis.

Don’t let fear of failure stop you from moving forward. Small steps add up. One phone call, one healthy choice, one positive thought—these aren’t just tiny things. They’re the building blocks of transformation.

📖 The Bible reminds us:

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6

God isn’t asking you to be perfect. He’s asking you to keep going. Keep growing. He finishes what He starts.

🧠 Quote of the Day:

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” – Zig Ziglar

So if today doesn’t feel like a big win, don’t sweat it. You showed up. You tried. You moved forward—even if it was just an inch. And that matters more than you know.

👏 Celebrate progress, not perfection.

The only people who never mess up are the ones who never try. But you? You’re trying. And that makes you brave.

Keep going—God’s not finished with you yet.

Can You Spare A Minute 7/5?

If you can find five minutes, can you spare one or two?

7/5–Can You Spare A Minute?

The Me channel is a boring channel. The Us channel is much more fulfilling.

It is amazing how much richer and fuller life is when you get your mind off yourself and think rather on others. When you help other people, you cannot help getting help yourself.

If I fill your cup to overflow then I should have some of it spill over on me.

Personally, I am happier when I think about others and try to help as many as I can. It may be true that a taker may eat better in this life, but a giver will sleep better.”
