6/21—Start Your Day Off Right Series 

Quote:

The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is now!

Story:

There was a man standing on a hill looking down on a man in the valley. The man on the hill said to himself I am here and the man in the valley is there. I don’t want to be here, I want to be there. I will just go join the man in the valley and then I can be there too! 

So the man on the hill hastened to join the man in the valley, for he had always longed to be there. When he finally got to the man in the valley he was so happy he exclaimed to the man I am finally there.

The man in the valley said no my son you are here. The man on the hill said please tell me where there is so I can finally be there. The man in the valley said you see that hill you just came from? Well that is there and you are here. 

So, when you long to get there in life, life will let you know you haven’t arrived. 

When I get $1 million dollars, get married, get my drivers license,you think, I will finally be there. You get married and then feel like it will take a child before you are finally there. Then you think when I get this child raised and through school….. well, you get my point!

We seem to never be there because we are always here!!

Maybe today you feel unfinished… like you’re a work in progress that’s taking too long. But hear this: God never starts something He doesn’t intend to finish.

You’re not abandoned. You’re under construction.

The struggles, the setbacks, even the silent seasons—they’re part of the process. God is shaping you, stretching you, and preparing you for something greater.

So don’t lose heart. He’s still working. And what He’s building in you is worth the wait.

🎯 Stay faithful. Stay patient. Your story isn’t over—it’s just getting good.

6/20–NEW PASTOR WARRANTY 

It has come to our attention that the pastor you received was shipped with a slight defect—he is not psychic. Because of this, you must observe certain procedures to ensure optimum performance. It is necessary to inform him of any members who are hospitalized. If someone you know is in need of prayer, the pastor must be told, or he won’t know. Life won’t always make sense. Sometimes the path ahead is foggy. The doors you thought would open stay shut. And the answers you hoped for don’t come.

But that’s where faith steps in.

Faith doesn’t wait for proof. Faith moves forward when the map is unclear but the voice of God is steady. You may not see how, when, or why—but you can still take the next step, trusting the One who holds tomorrow.

Don’t let what you see make you forget what God has said.

🎯 Walk by faith today. Even if it’s just one step—take it. God’s already there.

You may not be able to control everything that comes your way, but you can control your attitude, your effort, and your response. Life rewards those who press forward—not because it’s easy, but because they believe that what’s ahead is greater than what’s behind.

Don’t let yesterday’s failures define today’s potential. God’s mercy is new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Today, choose to rise with purpose. Speak life. Walk in confidence. Keep your focus forward and your faith strong. What you do today is shaping the victory of tomorrow.

Let June 20 be the day you draw a line in the sand and say: “I’m not going back—I’m growing, I’m learning, and I’m becoming everything I was created to be.”

Have you ever been tempted to quit right before a breakthrough? It’s in those moments—when the finish line feels the farthest—that you’re often the closest to it.

Think of the seed buried in the dirt. Nothing looks like it’s happening. But under the surface, roots are growing. That’s how your journey may feel right now. It may seem quiet. Slow. Even disappointing. But something powerful is happening beneath it all.

God is working in the waiting. Your faithfulness is not in vain. The late nights, the prayers, the effort that nobody sees—it all matters.

So if you’re thinking about giving up today, don’t. You’ve come too far to turn back now. What if the next step is the one that opens the door? What if the next prayer shifts everything?

Well the thing for you and me to do is just be content in whatever state we are in! 

Philippians 4: 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I live right on the state line so if I get discontent in one state is Paul saying that I can move to the other state and be happy. No friend, just be happy with where you are at with whatever you have! 

Be content with what you have because, you may be like Esau and get what you wanted but lose what you have. Or, you may be like Judas and get the thirty pieces of silver but lose what you already have. 

Your wife may have gained a hundred pounds since the wedding, but you had better be thankful for her. She keeps your clothes pressed and the kids and house clean. If she has a good meal on the table three times a day, you might better hold on to her! 

Wives, your husband may have gained a hundred pounds and lost his hair. But if he makes you and your children a good living, loves and takes care of you and your kids, you’d better not let him go either. So many people have traded something good off to find out that it was much better than what they traded for. 

If you have food on the table, a savings account, didn’t have to sleep in a car, you are so much better off than millions who don’t have those things. There are people overseas who would almost paddle a canoe to get to the United States and be where you are at. You had better be thankful! We have a life that some people only dream about. You had better hang on to your place and what you have got, there are people who would gladly trade with you.

Matthew 6:25

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Have you ever felt like you’re falling behind? Like everyone else is moving forward, but you’re stuck in the same place? Let me remind you of something powerful today: God’s timing is perfect.

Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t. Delays are not denials. Sometimes God holds things back—not to punish you—but to prepare you.

What’s meant for you will not pass you by. So don’t panic. Don’t compare. And most of all—don’t quit.

Keep praying. Keep planting. Keep trusting.
