KEEP BUILDING and let the RAIN DO the TALKING!

Story:

This is something that everyone needs, to be able to navigate the storms of life. Because no matter who you are you will have them. Concerning natural storms, they come up in everyone’s life no matter who you are or where you are at.

Storms just have a way of finding us no matter where we are at. It does matter if it’s not a good time or if we are ready. There are no exemptions!

The wise thing to do then, is to be ready. After all storms are always lurking and it is unwise not to prepare for them.

I have heard that you are either in a storm or you just came from a storm or you’re about to go into a storm. So, that’s all the time. We cannot afford to ignore the storms!

It is absolutely necessary that we learn to navigate the Storms!! When the media announces the approaching of storms, if you choose to ignore the warnings then you have to suffer the consequences. We would do everything we could to make sure we, along with our family and love ones, would be safe and prepared.

How many reading this feel as though you still have hope?

Scripture:

Acts 27:14-18

But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon. And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive. And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat: Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven. And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

Can You Spare A Minute Or So 7/12?

If you can’t find five minutes, can you spare one or two?

7/12– Can You Spare A Minute?

While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground.  “That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.  “

He’s a fine looking boy”, the man said. “That’s my daughter on the bike in the white dress.”

Then, looking at his watch, he called to his daughter. “What do you say we go, Melissa?”  Melissa pleaded, “Just five more minutes, Dad. Please? Just five more minutes.”  The man nodded and Melissa continued to ride her bike to her heart’s content.

Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his daughter. “Time to go now?”

Again Melissa pleaded, “Five more minutes, Dad. Just five more minutes.”  The man smiled and said, “OK.”  “My, you certainly are a patient father,” the woman responded.

The man smiled and then said, “Her older brother Tommy was killed by a drunk driver last year while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with Tommy and now I’d give anything for just five more minutes with him.

I’ve vowed not to make the same mistake with Melissa.  She thinks she has five more minutes to ride her bike. The truth is, I get five more minutes to watch her play.”

Moral of the Story: Life as a student can be downright hectic but as long as your priorities are straight, you’ll be able to make the most out of your hard work. In the story, the man learned the hard way to prioritize his family on top of all others. No matter how busy things get, don’t forget to spend time with people that matters to you!

A heavy snowfall can cripple large trees like elm and oak due to the weight breaking off the branches.

On the other hand, evergreens droop with the burden until it slides off.

So, too, we should not let burdens break us down.   Bend a little perhaps but not break.

Scripture:

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If you can’t find five minutes, can you spare just one or two?

Love is the greatest and most powerful force on earth.  It is more powerful than any volcano, earthquake, or tornado.  If I have $100 and give you $50, how much do I have left? I have $50 and you have $50. But, if I give you all my love, then you have all that you will or can receive and I still have all the love I originally had (probably more). $10 plus $10 is only $20, but multiplied it becomes $100.  Is that not better?  Of course it is. Keep Moving Forward No Matter What

Certainly! Here’s your motivational blog for July 11:

🚀 July 11 – Keep Climbing, Even When It’s Quiet 🧗‍♂️

Motivational Blog by Dale Cantrell

Welcome to July 11—a new day, a new climb.

Some days feel like mountaintops—joyful, victorious, full of momentum. But most days? They feel like the middle of the climb. No big applause. No obvious progress. Just you, taking one step after another.

💭 Here’s the truth:

Mountaintop moments are built in the quiet, uphill days when nobody’s watching. Don’t confuse silence with failure. Sometimes God does His best work in the stillness.

📖 Scripture of the Day:

“Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” – 1 Corinthians 15:58

Even if it feels like nothing’s changing, something is happening. Muscles are strengthening. Faith is deepening. Character is being forged.

💬 Quote of the Day:

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

🔥 So today, keep climbing.

Even when it’s hard.

Even when it’s lonely.

Even when it seems like no one else understands.

You’re closer than you think. Breakthroughs don’t shout—they often whisper.

🌄 Every step you take today is moving you higher. Keep going. The view will be worth it.

UNITY will MOVEtheCHURCH forward!

Story:

I read the following poem once that I would like to share with you. I’m sorry I do not know the author to credit.

Opportunities Missed: There was a very cautious man Who never laughed or played; He never risked, he never tried, He never sang or prayed. And when he one day passed away His insurance was denied; For since he never really lived, They claimed he never died!

How many reading this go through life playing defense? They are so afraid of making a mistake they don’t try anything. I say go for it because you never know until you try. I say play offense because life will only give back to you in proportion to that which have put in.

Scripture:

Ecclesiastes 9:11l

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Can You Spare A Minute Or Two 7/10?

If you can’t find five minutes, can you spare one or two?

7/10–Can You Spare A Minute?

Father to his son: don’t ever let anybody tell you that you can’t do something…. not even me.

If you have a dream…. you have to protect it! When people can’t do something themselves .. they want to tell you that you can’t do it. If you want something go get it, period.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate but that we are powerful beyond. measure! Is our light not our darkness is that for most frightens us. You’re playing small does not serve the

world there is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not distant some of us it’s in everyone. As we unconsciously let our own light shine we give others permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others. In this lifetime, you don’t have to prove anything to nobody except yourself!! You need to keep negotiating with your mind to find more strength…. but you keep going.

Dream big, don’t ever give up. Help other people achieve success and you will be successful! The biggest seller is cookbooks and the second is diet books –how not to eat what you’ve just learned how to cook.
