The Mighty Power Of Enduring

Life is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. And in that marathon, endurance is the secret ingredient that separates those who give up from those who go the distance.

Enduring doesn’t mean the absence of pain or struggle—it means pressing on despite them. It means choosing to keep walking even when the road is steep, the load is heavy, and the end is not yet in sight.

Every great story of success, every breakthrough moment, every inspiring testimony—has endurance behind it. The dreamer who refused to quit. The worker who kept showing up. The soul who believed there was still hope even when things looked hopeless.

Endurance is what allows you to grow through what you go through.

Maybe today you feel tired. Maybe life hasn’t been fair. Maybe you’ve faced one challenge after another. But let me encourage you: Don’t stop now. Your breakthrough may be just around the corner. Your effort is not wasted. Your perseverance is building strength, character, and hope within you.

The Bible says in James 1:12, “Blessed is the one who endures under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life…”

Endurance isn’t just about getting through—it’s about becoming more in the process.

So breathe deep. Straighten your shoulders. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

You’re stronger than you think.

Endure. Grow. Triumph.

Quote:

And in the end it is not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln Morning

Story:

Today is not Thanksgiving, but it is certainly a day to be Thankful! But I ask is Thanksgiving the only day of Thanks?

I suggest that you take your cell phone and set an alarm three times a day, as a reminder of how good we have it, especially in this country!

If you didn’t sleep in a car last night, or had something to eat, or had a little change in a dish somewhere…. then , you ought to be Thankful.

A taker may eat better, but a Giver will be happier and sleep better!!

Think of other people who would gladly swap places with you. You’d better hang on to what you’ve got and Be Thankful.

 As Are

Scripture:

James 4:14-15

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Humor:

I heard a story about a man touring a mental institution. The tour guide told the man that there were five floors there and the further up you went the worse off the patients were.

On the first floor the patients were only mildly ill, but by the time you got to the fifth floor they wee severely ill. On the first floor was a man staring out into space muttering Lulu, Lulu, Lulu. The man touring asked what was wrong. The tour guide said that twenty-five years ago the man was left at the altar by Lulu on their wedding day. The man said that he could understand how that would be hard.

When they finally arrived at the fifth floor that was a man muttering Lulu but more uncontrollable than the first man. The man touring wanted to know what was going on. The tour guide said that twenty-five years ago that man had indeed married Lulu!

If you can’t find five minutes, can you spare one or two?

Hospitality is making your guests feel at home, even though you wish they were.

The Freedom Of Forgiveness

Holding onto a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. Unforgiveness traps us in yesterday’s pain, making it hard to live in today’s peace.

Forgiveness doesn’t say, “What you did was okay.” It says, “I’m not letting what you did control me anymore.” It’s not about forgetting — it’s about releasing. It’s not weakness — it’s wisdom.

When you forgive, you’re not just setting someone else free — you’re setting yourself free. Free from bitterness, free from resentment, free from carrying a burden that was never yours to keep.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:14,

“If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

Forgiveness is not a feeling; it’s a decision. You may not feel like it. Your emotions may scream for justice. But when you choose forgiveness, your soul begins to heal.

Maybe today’s the day you forgive the person who hurt you. Or maybe it’s the day you forgive yourself. Either way, don’t let unforgiveness chain your spirit. Life’s too short, and peace is too precious.

Forgive — not because they deserve it, but because you deserve peace.

Quote:

Life in itself has no meaning. Life is an opportunity to create meaning.”

Story:

Perspective–seasoned by experience, you begin to understand what not to worry about. So that you can put your efforts into that which is productive and not in that which will energize your enemies by focusing on them and what they are trying to do.

If you start speaking to them you give life to them and make them bigger by focusing on them. You need to ignore what they are doing, and keep on doing what you are called to do. Because whatever you put your attention on you give life to. You make something or somebody important the moment you give it or them attention.

Whatever you give attention to you make important. If you want to kill something, ignore it. A lot of time Jesus answered them not a word. Let the silence settle.

Stand With The Underdog

Everyone loves a success story, but there’s something deeply inspiring about rooting for the underdog — the one who’s counted out, overlooked, underestimated. Maybe you’ve been that person before. Maybe you’re that person right now.

Helping the underdog isn’t just about kindness — it’s about courage. It’s easy to cheer for the front-runner, to side with the strong. But it takes heart to believe in someone who’s struggling, to stand with someone who doesn’t have status, skill, or spotlight.

Think of David — a shepherd boy who faced a giant with nothing but a sling and some faith. Or Joseph — the prisoner turned prime minister. Or Jesus — born in a manger, not a mansion. The Bible is full of underdog stories, because God delights in raising up the lowly.

When you lift up an underdog, you’re doing more than helping — you’re giving hope. You’re reminding them (and yourself) that one moment of belief can change a lifetime of doubt.

Proverbs 31:8-9 says:

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves… defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

Today, look around. Who’s sitting on the sidelines? Who’s being ignored, mocked, or dismissed? Go to them. Encourage them. Fight for them. When you bless the underdog, you’re doing the work of a champion.

Because sometimes the biggest win isn’t crossing the finish line — it’s helping someone else get there.

The Quiet Power Of Patience

In a world that runs on speed — fast food, fast internet, fast results — patience can feel like a weakness. But in truth, patience is one of the strongest forces you can cultivate. It’s not passivity; it’s power under control. It’s the quiet confidence that knows good things take time.

A seed doesn’t sprout overnight. A mighty oak begins as a fragile acorn buried in the dirt, hidden from sight. But with time, water, sunlight, and yes — patience — it grows into something unshakable.

Think about your own goals. The breakthrough you’re praying for, the healing you’re hoping for, the dream you’re working toward — these things don’t happen all at once. There’s a process, and within that process is purpose.

Patience allows us to keep showing up even when progress is invisible. It helps us endure disappointments without giving up. It teaches us trust — in God’s timing, in the value of the journey, and in our own ability to keep going.

Romans 12:12 says:

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

That’s not just advice; that’s a survival strategy. Hope keeps us looking forward. Prayer keeps us connected to the source. Patience keeps us grounded in the middle.

Today, if you’re waiting — for answers, for change, for growth — know that you’re not standing still. You’re standing strong. Waiting isn’t wasting when you’re trusting the process.

Remember:

The delay is not the denial.

The pause is not the punishment.

The wait is where the work is happening — in you and for you.

Hold on. Grow on. The harvest is coming.
