One of the hardest things in life is waiting your turn. We live in a fast-moving world where people want everything immediately. We want answers now, success now, blessings now, and recognition now. But some of the greatest lessons in life are learned while we are waiting.
Waiting does not mean you have been forgotten.
A farmer plants seeds in the ground, but he does not stand over the soil demanding instant growth. He understands there is a season for planting, a season for watering, and a season for harvest. In the same way, God often works behind the scenes while we wait. Just because you cannot see progress does not mean progress is not happening.
Many people miss their blessing because they become impatient. They compare themselves to others and wonder why someone else seems ahead. But life is not a race against another person. God has a specific plan and timing for every individual. Your assignment, your blessing, and your opportunity will come at the proper time.
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
David was anointed king long before he ever sat on the throne. Joseph dreamed of greatness long before he ruled in Egypt. Even Jesus waited until the right time to begin His ministry. Great things often require preparation.
While you are waiting your turn, keep growing. Keep learning. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep believing. Waiting time is never wasted time when God is involved.
Sometimes God delays things because He is preparing you for something bigger than you imagined. If He gave it to you too early, you might not have been ready to handle it.
Do not become discouraged because someone else received their blessing before you. Your day is coming. Stay faithful in the waiting season.
Your turn may take longer than you expected, but when it arrives, you will appreciate it even more because you learned patience, endurance, and trust along the way.
Remember this today: Waiting your turn is not punishment — it is preparation.
