Scripture: “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” — 1 John 4:8 (KJV)
When people think about God, they often think of His power, His holiness, or His justice. While all of those are true, the Bible tells us something even more personal: God is love. Love isn’t just something God does—it is who He is.
Every sunrise reminds us of His love. Every answered prayer reveals His love. Even when life is difficult and we can’t understand our circumstances, God’s love never changes. His love is steady when everything else seems uncertain.
The greatest demonstration of God’s love was shown at Calvary. Jesus willingly gave His life so that we could have forgiveness, hope, and eternal life. There is no greater love than that.
Because we have received God’s love, we are called to share it with others. A kind word, a helping hand, a forgiving spirit, or simply taking time to listen can reflect the love of Christ to someone who desperately needs encouragement. We may never know how one act of genuine love can change another person’s life.
If you’re feeling forgotten today, remember this: God’s love reaches farther than your failures, deeper than your pain, and higher than your greatest dreams. Nothing can separate you from His love when you trust in Him.
Today, choose to receive God’s love, rest in His love, and share His love with everyone you meet. The world has enough anger and division—it desperately needs to see the love of God shining through His people.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. Help me to experience Your love more deeply each day and to show that same love to those around me. Let my words and actions point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the Day: The more you understand God’s love for you, the more His love will flow through you to others.
