Just Take One Step At A Time

Scripture: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” — Psalm 37:23 (KJV)

Life is not won in giant leaps—it is won one faithful step at a time. Too often we become discouraged because we focus on how far we still have to go instead of appreciating how far God has already brought us.

God rarely reveals the entire journey. Instead, He gives us enough light for the next step. Every act of obedience, every prayer, every kind word, and every faithful decision moves us closer to His purpose for our lives.

Don’t let yesterday’s failures keep you from today’s opportunities. God’s mercy is new every morning. Each sunrise is another reminder that He is a God of fresh starts and new beginnings.

Whatever challenge you face today, don’t give up. Take the next step. Trust God with what you cannot see. He is already preparing the path ahead, even when it seems uncertain. Faith doesn’t require seeing the whole staircase—it simply requires trusting the One who built it.

As you walk through this day, remember that God is not only interested in your destination; He is shaping your character through the journey. Every step taken in faith is a step that honors Him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for guiding my steps each day. Help me to trust You when the road is unclear and to remain faithful in the small things. Give me courage to keep moving forward, knowing that You are walking beside me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
