Story:

How many of you know that if you had your life to live over you could’ve done better? How many know that there is something else that life has for you and that is why you are here?

You have to start monitoring your inner conversation and start talking to yourself with positive thoughts. You have to replace those old self-destructive thoughts with new positive thoughts!

Most people are not in the arena of because they don’t want to fight or get knocked down, so they spend their entire life sitting on the sidelines.

Discouragement is one of the main weapons of the enemy. It is one of the most used. Discouragement will catch a ride with you on the way to work. If it misses you it will be there when you get there. Then it will try to catch a ride with you on your way back home.

Might I suggest to you that you make a list? Get a sheet of paper, preferably a lined sheet of paper. Draw a vertical line down the middle. On one side put everything good. Now, if you are not too ashamed on the other side of that vertical line put everything that is bad. I hope if you start with the good side first that you don’t ever make it to the bad side.

They asked George Bernard Shaw if he had his life to live over who would he like to be. He said the man he never was. I don’t even know you but I know this about you that you have the ability to do more. The very fact that God woke you up this morning means that God isn’t through with you yet.

I would read the Bible through five times but it will take five years and I’m already 60 years old. Well, how old will you be in five years if you don’t read it five times?

Oliver Wendell Holmes said that most people go to their grave with their music still in them.

The cemetery is richer than Fort Knox. In the cemetery are songs never sung, books never written, apologies never made and love never expressed.

Someday Isle is a lonely place to be marooned. Millions of people are stuck on Someday I’ll do this that or the other.

Scripture:

Ecclesiastes 9:10

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

When Ordinary Becomes Holy

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” – Colossians 3:23

Sometimes we think we have to do something big to make an impact. But in God’s hands, even the smallest things become sacred.

Folding laundry with love? Holy.

Helping someone cross the street? Holy.

Forgiving when it hurts? That’s holy too.

We serve a God who turned fishermen into apostles and a manger into a throne room. So don’t underestimate what He can do with your ordinary.

This June 15, don’t look for fireworks. Look for the small moments. The simple obedience. The quiet kindness. That’s where God often shows up best.

Your daily walk can be a divine appointment. Your routine can become a revival. You don’t need a platform to change the world — you just need a willing heart.

Reflection Question:

What ordinary task can you offer to God today as an act of worship?

Prayer:

“Lord, take the small things I do today and breathe Your Spirit into them. Let my life reflect Your glory, even in the quiet places. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

The Power Of Right Now

🗓️ June 13 – Let Today Be the Day You Begin Again

Each day brings with it a quiet invitation: “Will you try again?”

June 13 isn’t just another square on the calendar. It’s a fresh opportunity—a blank canvas for courage, faith, and forward motion. You may not be able to change what happened yesterday, but you absolutely can decide what today will become.

🌅 The Power of Right Now

We often wait for perfect moments—next week, next month, or when life “settles down.” But the truth is, there’s power in simply starting now. Real growth doesn’t come from waiting. It comes from willing. Willing to believe again. Willing to take small steps with big faith.

Romans 12:2 says,

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

It starts in your thoughts. What you dwell on today shapes your direction tomorrow.

💡 A Thought to Consider

What if today was the very turning point you’ve been praying for? Not because everything around you changed—but because something within you did.

Let go of the guilt that weighs you down. Release the fear that paralyzes progress. Don’t carry what God has called you to lay down.

✨ Today’s Challenge

Ask yourself this:

“What one small action can I take today that will bring me closer to the person I want to be?”

Maybe it’s making that phone call, saying that prayer, going for that walk, or forgiving that person. Small steps lead to big shifts.

📌 Final Word

June 13 is a good day—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s yours.

Use it. Don’t lose it.

UNITY in the CHURCH is NECESSARY for the CHURCH TO GROW!

Scripture:

1 John 4:8

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

A group of seminary students gathered in the chapel one day as the dean challenged them to NOT pray for a large church because of the stress, problems and worries that go with it. The next year one of the students who graduated returned to give his testimony. He said, “I did ask God for a big church; however, I also asked God for a pretty wife. My prayer was ALMOST answered. Instead of getting a big church and a pretty wife, I got a pretty church and a big wife!”

You Are Closer Than You Think

Have you ever felt like giving up—right when you’ve been giving it your all? Like you’re pushing a heavy rock uphill, only to feel like it’s slipping back down? If so, you’re not alone. But before you quit, pause and consider this: you might be just one step away from your breakthrough.

Too often, we walk away when the finish line is just around the corner. The truth is, most success stories weren’t born from talent alone—they were born from grit, persistence, and a refusal to let the struggle have the final word.

Think about Thomas Edison, who made over a thousand unsuccessful attempts at inventing the lightbulb. When asked why he didn’t quit, he said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” That’s not failure—that’s determination with a backbone.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep going.

Here’s the good news: Motivation isn’t a constant fire—it’s something you can reignite every day with the right mindset. Start small. Make your bed. Write the email. Take the walk. Speak the kind word. One action at a time builds a mountain of momentum.

Don’t underestimate the power of showing up.

Even on your hardest days, you are planting seeds that will bear fruit—if you don’t quit on them too soon.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

So today, I want to encourage you: hold on a little longer. Push a little further. Smile in the face of discouragement. You never know—the next door you knock on might be the one that opens everything.

Your future is still unfolding. And you’re closer than you think.
