Because whatever you put your attention on you give life to. You make something or somebody important the moment you give it or them attention.

You have the strength to keep going, even when the road gets tough. You have the wisdom to learn from the past and the courage to chase your goals — even if they feel out of reach.
Take a deep breath. Let go of last month’s frustrations, and walk boldly into this new season with faith and determination. Small steps still move you forward, and every effort counts.
As you start July, speak life into your journey:
“I am capable.” “I am resilient.” “I am moving forward.”
Don’t wait for motivation — create it. Show up for yourself. Set one goal, take one action, make one decision that aligns with your purpose. The rest will follow.
The last day of the month is a powerful reminder: How you end something matters just as much as how you begin.

Let June close with intention, not regret. Finish it strong—and walk into July with boldness.
It is like the TV character Steve Urkel who would tear up anything and everything. Afterwards he would say ” Did I do that?” Seemingly he acted like he didn’t know that he had done anything wrong. He was in the dark about everything that his actions had done. He seemed innocent in any destruction he had caused.
People say hurtful things and act as if they had no idea that could be destructive to the relationship. They would act like what did I do, I only said so and so?
There is a little saying that we used to say when we were kids. It went something like sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Well, I’m here to say that words can be very hurtful. I would almost rather have the sticks and stones.
Words are like arrows shot from a bow and arrow once they leave the bow, the arrows can never return. Once you let your words proceed out of your mouth you can never grab them back.
Words are powerful especially to children who are so impressionable. We can’t wait for them to walk and talk and then we tell them to sit down and shut up!
We tell them they are dumb, clumsy and other statements of incompetence. We can program them with negative programming in the first few years of their lives that will take years of reprogramming for them to be productive in life!
Millions of children go to bed hungry tonight for lack of food and nourishment. Millions more will go to bed hungry tonight for lack of encouragement.
Words are powerful and life-changing. Words can build people up to accomplish great things, or tear them down and render them almost useless and helpless.

We live in a world that wants everything instantly. Fast food, same-day delivery, and immediate answers have conditioned us to expect quick results. But God often works on a different timetable. He is far more interested in developing our character than satisfying our schedule.
Patience is not simply waiting—it is waiting with the right attitude. It is trusting God when the answers haven’t come, believing His promises when circumstances seem unchanged, and continuing to do what is right while expecting Him to work in His perfect time.
A farmer doesn’t plant a seed one day and dig it up the next to see if it’s growing. He waters it, protects it, and patiently waits for the harvest. In the same way, God is growing things in your life that cannot be rushed. Every delay has a purpose, and every season of waiting is preparing you for what lies ahead.
If you’re praying for healing, restoration, guidance, or an open door, don’t give up because the answer hasn’t arrived yet. God’s delays are not God’s denials. He sees what you cannot see, and His timing is always perfect.
Patience also changes how we treat others. When we are patient, we extend grace instead of anger, understanding instead of criticism, and love instead of frustration. The people around us often need our patience just as much as we need God’s patience with us.
Today, choose to trust rather than worry. Wait without complaining. Keep serving, keep believing, and keep moving forward one faithful step at a time. The God who made the promise is faithful to fulfill it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your patience with me. Help me to trust Your timing when I become anxious or discouraged. Teach me to wait with faith, to love others with patience, and to remember that You are always working, even when I cannot see it. Strengthen my heart to rest in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge for Today: When you find yourself becoming impatient today, stop and pray, “Lord, I trust Your timing.” Then choose one situation where you will respond with patience instead of frustration.
If you can’t find five minutes, can you spare one or two?
6/29 Can You Spare A Minute?
A Chinese boy who wanted to learn about jade went to study with a talented old teacher. This gentle man put a piece of the precious stone into his hand and told him to hold it tight. Then he began to talk of philosophy, men, women, the sun and almost everything under it. After an hour he took back the stone and sent the boy home.
The procedure was repeated for several weeks. The boy became frustrated. When would he be told about the jade? He was too polite, however, to question the wisdom of his venerable teacher.
Then one day, when the old man put a stone into his hands, the boy cried out instinctively, ‘That’s not jade!'”
So many people give up on their goals—not because they don’t care, but because they believe if they can’t do it perfectly, they shouldn’t do it at all.
Let’s break that lie today.
Progress will always beat perfection. You don’t need the perfect plan, the perfect words, or the perfect day to get started. What you need is movement. Forward is forward, even if it’s slow.
Some days, you’ll feel like you’re conquering the world. Other days, you’ll just be trying to hold it together. Both count. Both matter. Both are part of the process.
The truth is, no one becomes great overnight. Every success story is filled with moments of doubt, failure, restarts, and small wins. You’re not behind—you’re becoming.

Think of water carving through stone. It doesn’t happen in one day, but over time, the steady drip changes everything. That’s what your consistency is doing in your life—carving a path to greatness.
Even if today feels slow, hard, or thankless—keep going.
You are further along than you were yesterday. And tomorrow, you’ll be even stronger because you didn’t quit today.
