Keep Moving Forward, Don’t Go Back

Life has a way of knocking us down. Setbacks, disappointments, and failures can tempt us to stop trying. But the key to success and growth is not never falling—it’s refusing to stay down when you do. Proverbs 24:16 reminds us: “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.”

Each time you get back up, you prove that failure doesn’t define you—faith does. Every stumble teaches you something new, every obstacle builds strength, and every trial develops resilience. The enemy wants you to believe you can’t recover, but God says His grace is sufficient for every step forward.

Don’t let yesterday’s mistakes keep you stuck in regret. Don’t let fear of the unknown freeze your progress. Instead, take one step today—just one. Small steps forward, taken consistently, lead to big victories over time.

So today, keep moving forward. Walk in faith, even if the road feels uphill. Trust that God has more for your future than your past could ever hold.

Remember: The race isn’t won by the fastest—it’s won by the one who refuses to quit.

Charity Suffers Long And Is Kind

Charity Is Necessary to Edify

1Cor 13:1-13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

When you kneel down to God, He stands up for you, no one can stand against you.

Story:

Wilma didn’t get much of a head start in life. A bout with polio left her left leg crooked and her foot twisted inward so she had to wear leg braces. After seven years of painful therapy, she could walk without her braces.

At age 12 Wilma tried out for a girls basketball team, but didn’t make it. Determined, she practiced with a girlfriend and two boys every day. The next year she made the team. When a college track coach saw her during a game, he talked her into letting him train her as a runner. By age 14 she had outrun the fastest sprinters in the U.S. In 1956 Wilma made the U.S. Olympic team, but showed poorly. That bitter disappointment motivated her to work harder for the 1960 Olympics in Rome–and there Wilma Rudolph won three gold medals, the most a woman had ever won.

9/7– Can You Spare A Minute?

9/7–President Lincoln had an early political rival named Edwin Stanton. He called Lincoln the original gorilla.

When Lincoln was elected President he chose Stanton to be his secretary of war because he believed he was the best man for the job.

At Lincoln’s funeral Stanton said, “There lies the most perfect ruler of men the world has ever seen.”

President Lincoln had learned not to take insults personally.

Overcoming Discord In The Church

Discord is like a crack in the foundation—it may start small, but if left unattended, it can weaken everything around it. Whether it’s in families, friendships, or churches, discord robs us of unity and steals the peace God intended for us. Proverbs 6:19 warns us that one of the things the Lord hates is “he that soweth discord among brethren.”

The truth is, discord often begins with words—sharp words, careless words, or repeated words whispered in the wrong spirit. But just as words can tear down, they can also heal. A kind word, an apology, or even the choice to remain silent can stop discord in its tracks.

When we rise above discord, we choose harmony over hostility. We recognize that our differences don’t have to divide us—they can be opportunities for growth and deeper understanding. Romans 12:18 says, “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” That means doing your part to mend, not multiply, division.

So today, resist the urge to feed discord. Instead, be the one who brings calm to conflict, light to darkness, and peace to turmoil. Remember, unity is powerful—when people come together in love and purpose, there is very little that can stop them.

Remember: Discord tears down, but unity builds up. Be a builder today.

Seek The Deep Things Of God

There are deep things available to Gods Children!

1 Cor 2:9-12. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Story:

I am reminded of the man who lost his luggage on a transcontinental flight. Upon arriving at his destination and discovering that his bags had not, this man made his way to the airline’s claim office, where he caused a scene.

The employee recording his information “patiently endured the angry tirade until the passenger accused her of personal incompetence.

“Sir,” she answered, “no one knows where your baggage is yet. At the moment, only two people in the whole world even care where it is—and one of us is rapidly losing interest!”

The Power In Having Patience

Patience is not just waiting—it’s how you wait. Anyone can sit through a delay, but true patience is choosing peace over frustration and trust over panic. It’s believing that God’s timing is better than yours, even when the clock seems to be running too slow.

We live in a world that pushes for instant results, but some of the greatest blessings take time to grow. A seed doesn’t become a tree overnight, and neither do our dreams. James 1:4 tells us, “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” In other words, patience shapes us while we’re waiting for the answer.

Impatience often steals joy and blinds us to the lessons in the moment. Patience, on the other hand, builds strength. It allows God to work out details we cannot see and prepare us for doors we’re not ready to walk through yet.

So today, choose patience. Instead of asking “How long?” ask “What am I learning?” Instead of fighting the delay, embrace it as part of your growth. The waiting room is often where God equips us for the very thing we’ve been asking Him for.

Remember: Patience isn’t punishment—it’s preparation.
